5,000 Employee Retail Store The Limited to Achieve Efficiencies with Leading Workforce Management Application
ORLANDO, FL., January 5, 2010 – Empower Software Solutions, Inc. a national provider of end-to-end human resources software and services to medium and large-sized corporations, today announced that The Limited, a leading provider of private-label women’s apparel in the United States, is the latest organization to select the EmpowerWFM™ workforce management solution.
The Limited engaged multiple vendors to participate in their comprehensive selection process prior to choosing EmpowerWFM. “At the end of the day, not only did Empower meet the goals that we set out to accomplish, but we also felt the most comfortable with their personnel,” said Nick Kleinhenz, director of stores finance, The Limited. “They were attentive, visited multiple stores, and really took the time to understand our processes and get to know our people. Due to their consultative approach, they were better able to articulate and prove that EmpowerWFM was the right solution to meet our labor and scheduling needs.”
In the past year, The Limited implemented a technology upgrade in all of their stores to include a New Point of Sales, Traffic Counters and online connectivity. With approximately 5,000 employees in over 220 stores nationwide, The Limited sought a workforce management solution that would complement the technology upgrades as well as leverage payroll, the company’s largest controllable expense. All of the modules offered in EmpowerWFM – budgeting, forecasting, scheduling and time and attendance – enable The Limited store managers to be more efficient by matching labor with store traffic ultimately leading to an improved client experience.
